The Girls’ Room is the first of its kind in Las Vegas

“Where Sisterhood Meets Life-Long Readiness”

The Girls’ Room Las Vegas is a holistic, gender-specific after-school program designed for high school girls ages 15–19 in East Las Vegas. Rooted in sisterhood and empowerment, the program focuses on preventing teenage pregnancy and promoting sexual health through access to comprehensive sex education. Each cohort is limited to 15 young women who are committed to growth, service, and community. To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled in high school (grades 9–12), not be deemed chronically absent, have reliable transportation to and from sessions, and be able to meet at least half of the program hours to remain in good standing.

Participants engage in real conversations, activities, service projects, and mentorship while developing life skills, emotional resilience, and leadership. With limited spots available, The Girls’ Room offers a safe haven where sisterhood meets life-changing readiness.

Our Primary Objectives:

1) to equip teens, sexually active or not, with the knowledge and skills to navigate potential risks associated with premarital sex, thereby preventing unintended pregnancies.

2) to support young mothers within our community by offering educational resources, tools, and guidance to empower them in making informed decisions regarding their sexual health.

3) to promote overall well-being and empowerment among young women.
